Company Profile
Incepted in Bangalore, Met Chem Laboratories is a trustworthy laboratory offering reliable testing and analyzing services for more than a decade. We present analysis of ferrous and non-ferrous metal, testing of industrial effluent, analysis of ORS and minerals, analysis of soils and fertilizers, analyses of zari samples, etc. Since our establishment, we are committed to provide accurate analytical results by using latest testing machinery and equipments in accordance to international standards. An ISO 9001–2000 certified lab, we are also approved and certified by Dept of Industries and Commerce and Karnataka State Pollution Control Board.
Founder
The laboratory started by Mr. A E Merwade in the year May 1997. Being a Post Graduate in Analytical Chemistry from University of Bangalore in May 1979, he is well versed in the analysis of various commodities such as ores, minerals, metals, alloys, soils, chemicals, fertilizers, water/effluents. Having wide experience and knowledge in analyzing by both wet or instrumental methods for the above mentioned commodities adhering to the latest IS/BS/ASTM specifications, Mr. A E Merwade has made a mark in this sphere of business.

Presently we are handling more than 5 million tones per annum for sampling/analysis of ores and minerals at Bellary-Hospet and Bangalore sector. Furthermore, we are extending our mechanical testing services to most of the iron ore exporters and steel mills in and around Karnataka.
